Author Project

As part of this year’s focus on poets, I would like you to turn your attention to Ovid. As we have been translating his work for the past weeks, I would like you to think about what you enjoy about his work. Choose one of your favorite poems to focus your review on and write about why you like this poem so much.  

Your completed project can be submitted via email or turned in as a hard copy on January 20. 

Project Requirements:

Poems – 1 10-20 lines (Latin and English) and pasted into Word document

Justification – 1-2 pages discussing why you like these excerpts

Is related to Roman history/culture in some way?
